On the last case that Gavin solved messed with his head, making him slow down on his work. To try to fix the problem, Fowler transfers Richard (Nines) to the DPD to help Gavin. Problems rise, feelings uncertain, however a criminal mastermind works in the background, kidnapping androids from random places. Will the duo figure it out before they lose something important? Or will they die trying to solve this case?

It's almost a year, that the androids started a revolution and got stopped by the RK800-model. Most of the old models got destroyed and replaced with newer models in hope, that the disaster wouldn't happen ever again. After the great success of the RK800, Cyberlife published the new advanced model, claiming, that this is the perfect machine detective in all times -RK900. They created the new RK-model with the so-called "Dog Syndrome", which is a reference to the phrase: Like owner, like dog. It's supposed to make the android work harmoniously with their owner. Gavin Reed hated androids before and even more after the revolution. If he gets the chance, he would shoot every single of them, because they are just machines causing trouble.
