Luca Divaldi had been a model since he could walk, his unsuccessful parents living vicariously through his success. He was seen through the public eye as a spoiled, privileged teen celebrity, but no one could guess the horrors he faced when the cameras weren't focused on him.

Joseph Montgomery was unlucky enough to be somewhat mixed up in Luca's lavish life, his mother working as the Divaldi's maid while she was in between jobs.
