When I was young, I was always such a troublemaker. My parents kept telling me if I did not behave, nothing good would come out of it... If only I had listened to them. Red lights flickering off and on, my hand on my wound which was on the side of my stomach, I could feel the blood getting so much worse that it was getting past my hand. I tried not to pass out, taking deep breaths as I ignored the fact that my vision was getting very blurry. I can't pass out right now unless I want to die. What was that thing? Did he cause all this damage? Where was everyone else? Am I the only survivor of this outrage? What if I was? How am I going to get to safety? I leaned against the wall as I recalled how all this happened, starting from the beginning as I heard the creature who I remembered was once my friend coming closer and closer to where I was. ********************** Hazel Blocken, the daughter of two researchers, is willing to find her own path in life. Not letting anyone bring her down she gets into the university of her dreams where her adventure will begin. But then the university decides to bring up a contest to see who will be next in line to follow the mission that changed humankind but what nobody expected was that there was something grander behind the whole ordeal.
