This is a story about a girl from a small town. Maliah is not the prettiest girl in the state if Texas by any means but she has her own way of doing everything.
Her mom died when she was young and her dad didn't talk about her mom a lot. So, she doesn't know much. But when her best friend Emma invited her to the ice cream shop down the road from her dads shop everything changes.
From that day on her life would never be the same. Her life will be forever changed and there's no looking back now.
She worked so hard to help her dad even though she was small she was tough. She still is tough. This her story and I hope you will love it as much as I do.

The Summer of Serendipity
Summers are supposed to be that time of the year that you should look forward to. No school, hours at the beach, late night parties. What's not to love? Three words. My neighbor's grandson. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either.
