When she was younger, around 8 or 9 Amaya was kidnapped and tested on. Which is how she got her second Quirk that she doesn't know about until she joined UA. The Quirk is Shapeshifting. After her Aunt tells her about the Quirk she keeps it quiet until her teachers tell her to train it.
