Troy is an outcast, just trying to figure out how to navigate life with a broken family home and an unromantic life. Careers and family don't mean anything to her. Despite their differences, they are drawn to one another and quickly become each other's support system when the going gets tough. As their friendship deepens over the years, the two realize that they have developed feelings for one another, but is love worth crossing the boundary of friendship?
