In the wasteland of a post-nuclear world, a lone man wanders the wilderness of the new world, seeking answers to his past. Society has crumbled, leaving brutality and anarchy where freedom and democracy once held the seams of humanity in place.
Human nature depicts itself in grotesque fashion in a struggle to survive. It's win or lose, kill or be killed, and the old adage of only the strong survive proves true as the aggressive and savage prosper, while the weak and the defenseless are left dead in the sand.
They are hard times, yes, but it is a hard world now.
Having lost his home, his young wife and his very identity in a brutal attack long ago, the wanderer now pursues his attackers across the arid wasteland of the new world in hopes of finally finding the peace and serenity that was so stolen from him.
Will he succeed in his search, and finally find peace for his troubled soul? Or will he be crushed in the relentless grip of the new world?
Meanwhile, a storm is growing in the east, and the winds of change are beginning to blow their mournful cry...

The temper of a demon and the strength to match. Those words best describe young Brute. Brute has no memory of his past and almost no feelings but anger. But now at the age of 19 he knows one thing- If you're good at something, never do it for free. After spending the majority of his life being trained in the art of destruction, Brute now sells his skills as a hired gun. Taking contracts from anyone who he knows will pay good, Brute takes his anger out on his targets, be it drug dealers, abusive family members, corrupt politicians and everything in between. A Winded Will
They said only the gifted survive. In a world dictated by those born strong, one boy fights to prove that stubbornness can rival bloodlines, and that borrowed will can burn brighter than destiny. Every trial cuts deeper, every victory costs more-and still, he climbs. Among soldiers who can shatter mountains and prodigies who bend the elements, he's the outlier-the one who shouldn't have made it this far. But when survival means more than strength, and when the heroes the world worships start to fracture, he learns that sometimes courage alone has to carry the weight of legends. This is a story about defiance, about standing back up when the world forgets your name-and finding meaning in the breath between failure and triumph. (This is a story I've been writing for five years, and I really hope you enjoy it. Living in a world 230 years after a world wide nuclear war that damaged the whole world and turned it into a giant wasteland. Water is barely safe to drink and raiders scavenge and terrorise the land in search of blood shed, food, and weapons. There is a different threat around every corner. Life is a valuable prize. With limited law enforcement and limited protection staying out of harms way is more complicated than it should be. Follow the tales of ten very different people exploring, living and surviving in the waste land. First Arend Vitalis found a robotic weapon created by God. Then he fell in love with her. Next, he realized he wanted to destroy the world, and watch as everything around him died. An indeterminate amount of time in the future, the apocalypse has come and gone - and only humans remain on the earth. After the disaster known only as the Collapse, the extremely small population clings to life in ruined cities thanks to advanced technology. In a world blanketed in wastelands, existence is but an empty shell of what it once was, and time continues unabated. A boy in this age has looked around himself and seen only hopelessness and sorrow. After years of inner struggle, he has finally come upon the conclusion that humanity is destined only for destruction, and that he wants to witness this end. Soon afterwards he comes across the power of God himself and must decide if the human race deserves salvation and rebirth - or if he will bring about its end with his own hands.
