Asra's father is King Lucio, the king of Arcadia, a kingdom that is placed far north in the realm. Although a princess, she has many more secrets to hide, and one in particular she would do her best to keep it from seeing the light. Cefaris doesn't have a choice but to follow King Vandran blindly, the king of Druinel, a kingdom that is far south on the other side of the realm. His life force is in that of an amulet that hangs around the king's neck, binding them together. When Asra and Cefaris meet, and they realize that there may be more in common between them than just relations to royalty, sparks fly - literally and figuratively. Although they are destined to be enemies, with their kings rivaling for the crown to rule over all realms, of course, feelings aren't things to be controlled. Nor are they to be denied.
