Running on the limited battery of her laptop, Peyton took a nervous walk through the dark house while Danica stayed connected, her voice tight with fear. The tension broke with a sudden knock on the kitchen door. It was Trevor, Peyton's lifelong best friend, somehow appearing in the middle of nowhere. Relief flooded Danica; her sister was safe now. But was she? As the days blurred together, strange things began to happen. The electrician hired to fix the persistent power issue couldn't find a fault and, after his final visit, simply vanished. Meanwhile, Trevor seemed to be around all the time, his familiar comfort morphing into an unsettling, inescapable presence. The woods are a perfect place to hide a dead body...
