It's been a few years since everything settled down, hybrids have been way more common, animus, however, have started disappearing, and it is seeming we are starting a new era, full of hybrids. The only know animi are Prince Turtle of The Seawings, Princess Anenome of The Seawings, Jeraboa the II Of The Sandwings, And Fern of the Sea and Rainwings. Fern is quite young, only about 5, but she already loves to do many things, but she has very few friends because as the purebreds die out, they say "We like our blood, Clean."

Wings of Fire; Torn Between Sides
This book is a little outdated and will be getting a rewrite soon! ------------------ Fighting, dragons were always fighting in the Rainforest. Not physically, but verbally. The Rainforest Kingdom was being torn apart by its residents. The RainWing's and NightWing's. Queen Dandelion and King Palmtree are doing nothing to calm down their tribe, so, someone else has to. Lavender is an seven year old dragonet who belongs to both tribes. She's a hybrid, born from her RainWing mother and NightWing father. Her life is wonderful, at least in her family and small village close to the edge of the Rainforest. But, she's starting to notice the change within everyone, as if they know something is coming, something bad. Lavender wants to keep her kingdom safe, just like all dragons do, but she also wants to keep everyone connected and stop them from being torn apart. Will she be able to fix the ties that brought the RainWing's and NightWing's together? Or will they be split apart and she'll be stuck between torn sides. ------------------------ The Wings of Fire series is written by Tui T. Magic, Visions, Betrayal
The story depicts two perspectives, both from different side of this tribe rivalry. Princess Cerise of the Skywings was originally blind from an Icewing accident at the Skywing Wingery. The Skywings forged an alliance with the Sandwings after Dawn had cured Cerise's eyes, but nobody knew that Dawn had put a spell on the Skywing tribe to worship her and the tribe. Princess Hurricane of the Seawings was a secret animus of the Seawing tribe. She loved her sister Marine, and was desperate to guide her sister to the right choices and paths once realizing that her dear sibling was losing her soul one by one, turning colder. When the Skywings attacked her royal family during a gathering, Hurricane was dragged into a final battle, revealing her magic, and making choices to save the day, and her life.
