I blink away the shock and start opening my eyes again, my heart throbbing in my ears, loud and irregular, but I barely hear it as my mind clouds with fear. Burning at the foot of my bed is a ring of electric fire, the flames licking the floor as it pulses awake causing the smell of smoke to fill the room. A tall, lean silhouette emerges from it, his face covered in darkness only allowing me to see the white of his eyes, causing the fear to grow strong as he outstretches his arm. I stare at the figure, disbelief decorating my expression. Something like this, it can't be possible. "Atlas!" the man shouts desperately; his voice dark and authoritative. ----------- Atlas is thrown into a world where her whole life changes. Her blood being the only antidote to a weapon of mass destruction, she fights to avenge her mother's death and take down the people who tore her family apart. With broken trust, lies, manipulation and love, Atlas doesn't know what to do when she becomes what she's fighting against, when she becomes the weapon of mass destruction.

[Formerly Featured!] Coming back from a vacation, with a gun pointed at her head was definitely not what Jean Saunders expected. Especially seeing a man flying around in the air, claiming to be the city's superhero. At least he wasn't wearing that embarrassing spandex outfit. Alas, due to her capability for getting into trouble, the city's superhero eventually recognises her and not in a good way, at all. Catching a superhero's attention is never a good thing. -------------------------- Opening and closing his mouth, he made some gestures as if he was trying to speak but he couldn't find the words to convey his message. "...what are you?" He finally managed to speak and I blinked my eyes at him. The heck? Does he think I am some sort of...alien? It's not like I'm some kind of weird species! What the heck does he think I am? "I'm human!" I said, narrowing my eyes at him. --------------------------
