Caroline Forbes made probbaly the biggest mistake in her life in the name of her love for Niklaus Mikaelson. She risked all she has ever known and had just to be with him. Esther, desperate to right what she had done makes use of caroline's love for her son in a determined choice to destroy the monster she had created, she would not stop at anything in her quest to rid the plauge she brought into this world. Esther seeks Caroline out to strike a deal with her. Caroline is fully aware that though her love is invincible it was the product of magic and likewise magic could be the end of him. Her thirst for vengence fuels her magic and Caroline finds her memory wiped cleaned. Esther's magic spirals out of control and everyone in Mystic Falls can't remember anyone especially who their hearts belong to anymore...
