After the previous events that went down, Shuichi, Kaito, Kokichi, Fuyuhiko, Kiibo and Chiaki are called into Byakuya Togami's office in hearing that there was property damage during their "great escape" and tells the culprits, the Astronaut and his side-kick to pay an amount of ten million yen. Worried about already having to pay off their loan to Byakuya, the director and founder of the Future Foundation, Makoto Naegi offers to pay for all of the costs and much to both Shuichi and Kaito's surprise, Byakuya accepts. The group of Ultimates get dismissed but it turns out behind closed doors.
