North Wright already has her hands full with balancing the high school newspaper, preparing for college, and involving herself in every extracurricular activity she could manage. But once the school's anonymous prankster known as the Vandal Bandit, graffitied the school wall with North's newspaper logo it becomes much more personal and her life gets more complicated as a result.

Determined to unmask the troublemaker before graduation she dives headfirst into investigating the antics alongside the newspaper president, Todd. While the two analyze all the clues left behind her brother, Micah assigns his best friend, Vincent as her personal bodyguard in an attempt to keep her safe and keep her from getting too close to Todd. 

However, nothing ever goes as planned with teenagers. The mischief-maker keeps up the tricks and romances begins blossoming behind closed doors. With Todd and Vincent butting heads at every corner North fears she won't be able to unveil the Vandal Bandit before their ruses become too dangerous.
