The City of Light was built underground only for one reason - to survive.
Arine Dawn is a soldier, skilled with her fists, and only has to guard the main city gate that never failed to keep the creatures of the night out. For 50 years the city prospered but now, humanity might need another line of hope to hold onto because the last fine line of hope snapped.

Undertale: Guardian on the Surface

13 parts Complete

Branden and the Monsters have finally gotten to the surface. But things aren't as simple as they hoped it'd be once they got out of the Underground. Humans fear the monsters more then they did before and force them to live out of their city behind a wall. Monsters are patient and understand that they are a frightening sight after so long, and leave it to the ambassador to try and make things right. Frisk still has much to do though, as she and Asriel we accepted to go to school in the city while their brother, Branden, continues to train and protect all of Monsterkind. Eventually, his patience runs thin and starts to take things in his own hands, but will he make things better? After all, Frisk, Sans, and Branden all remember what happened before getting out, vividly. Will they be able to make things better, or will they get Monsters even more problems?
