Atop the lofty hills of Mount Hau, the youthful Neil grows up with no memory of his tragic childhood past. When his teacher sends him down the hills to explore the vastness of the Kingdom of Valtava, he soon finds himself entangled in a plethora of events, including a love affair with the mistress of Marrock, a wrongfully convicted murder, and an accidental acquisition of the powerful spiritual energy, termed mana. The combination of these matters drives him into a harrowing tragedy, and in a turn of revenge, he transforms into a villain whom all of Valtava will remember as Neil, the Sky Breaker. Even after he regrets his wrongdoings, will he be able to win back the trust of the people and restore peace to the Heavens and Earth?
