After long last the Pitchfork River Valley has seen a time of peace after the tribesmen pact, after the unrest and rebellions and the Ruby Kingdom finally releasing the Southern Kingdom, and after the Conflict at the Bridge the valley is at peace. The real question is for how long will such an unstable peace last for?

Ok out of character in all seriousness this is still a work in progress, I wanted to post this out to get an idea of what the response would be. Any comments, critiques or opinions are welcome, thank yall!All Rights Reserved

After a nuclear war nearly in 2150 the whole Earth has become uninhabitable for humans. There are some major cities which are still running but have very scarce resources such as food, water and oil. There are tall, thick walls protecting people from the outside world, surrounding the whole city and there is a ceiling, blocking the radiation from seeping in as air is filtered through the roof. The year is now 2205 which is the beginning for Earth to become how it was before. There are a group of people called The Warriors who go out and try to look for resources, facing death daily. The only way he could get out is if he joined The Warriors to search for a mythical jungle which is rumored to be flourishing in food and water. The journey is going to be very dangerous and death can come at any corner. There are bandit clans, somehow surviving outside of the walls and new types of animals unseen from humans that they didn't know existed. He will meet new friends, make some enemies and will be manipulated to do some really idiotic things, will he survive the journey and become a hero? Or will he die anyway?

The world flooded, and only small peaks now rise above the water, with civilization confined to waterborne cities with limited resources. The cities are ruled by tyrannous bosses, enforcing their will with an army of thugs and Stoneweavers, those able to use the remnants of magic from the old times. Resources are maintained by regular Cleansing of the populace, selling the poorest into slavery as miners. With a Cleansing due, what danger are an escaped slave and a thief to this delicate society? As an experiment, I'm publishing the first draft chapters from this heroic fantasy on a daily basis, while still writing it. I'm about halfway through but at the current rate should be able to keep up the pace until it's finished (admittedly, many of the chapters are fairly short). It's also an exercise in discovery writing, as I'm working from a very loose outline on this one, but I have a fairly good idea of the ending by this point. The chapters may get updated to fix typos, or if elements need changing due to future chapters, but otherwise the final version should be made available as an ebook.
