What is Celaena's very first conversation with Arobynn like? How does their relationship develop? I'm writing this story to explore the early years of her training. We'll see how she became a ruthless assassin while developing tastes for luxury and distastes for slavery.

Since Dorian is the King now, Aelin decides to visit Adarlan to discuss treaties, and also to visit him. Rowan is to join her, while Aedion is staying back. Reunited with Chaol Westfall, the handsome Captain of the Guard and an old romantic interest of Aelin's, the spark between them might just reignite. But is it just a fling and fun affair? After all, she couldn't possibly marry a man of Adarlan, and she did not exactly imagine a forever with Chaol anymore. And as for the Fae prince, Rowan Whitethorn...well HE is just hopelessly in love with his queen, who did not seem the least bit interested in him - too busy hooking up with the Captain of the Guard to notice Rowan's longing looks. This is set after Silver Flames, but will not touch on any events that have happened after. This story has 5 parts: Part 1: Before Ikarad, the second son to Feyre and Rhysand of the Night Court. Mated to Etera, the Shifter. Both of them are loyal to their court and their family. Both of them dream of a future that feels so impossible and far away, that when it is within grasp, it scares them more. Part 2: During Freya, daughter to Tamlin. Her life is limited to a circle of white stone. Her hair itches, and her dreams are filled with mountains and wings. Betrothed to a male decades older, a marriage everyone around her prepares her for. Part 3: Present Freya has known pain for a long time now and Orion is tasked to look after her. Orion, the outlier, the one that doesn't truly fit in. Freya's identity is questioned, all that she knows about the world starts to break apart. Leaving her to lean on Orion in more ways than one. Part 4: After Amaya, Youngest daughter to Rhysand and Feyre of the Night Court, tries to find her place in the Night Court. Her powers are greater than her brothers and her father. Her head is held high. Things still need to be clarified, still need to be revealed. Part 5: Beyond Etera needs to face what she has tried to hide from. Amaya needs to face her feelings. Aether is the Guardian of the Night Court, sworn to protect her High Lord and the court she loves deeply. A role created by the Mother herself, she is soul tied to her High Lord Rhysand and must carry out the responsibilities given to her by her title, or at least she should have. Born on the outskirts of Velaris, she was discovered first not by her High Lord, but the King of Hybern. Used for her powers, she lives a century under Hybern's control. On a routine seizure of information and to wipe out Hybern assets, the Spymaster and General of the Night Court come across a woman, beaten and weak, supposed to be Hybern's weapon master. They take her back to Velaris to heal and meet with the High Lord, but as the soul tie snaps together, another bond does as well to the High Lords' brother, Prince Ascelin. Being thrown back into society, Aether must navigate healing her trauma, meeting her new found family, and grow into her role as the Mother gifted Guardian.
