Samantha Morris thought that the month she was going to be on an expedition with her archaeology and anthropology professor would turn up little of note filled in by boredom. What she didn't count on was finding one of eight amulets, crafted by the largest, oldest indigenous civilization, the Matawan Empire. Upon touching it, she was transformed into the Avatar of the Jaguar.
Now known secretly as the superhero/vigilante Jaguar, she must find the other amulets and their Avatars if she has any hope of defeating an ancient, now stirring evil and protecting the last sanctuary of the Matawan people.
