Well, imagine if YOU were the sidekick, the one who followed your best friend around? Your best friend was the special one, the one with the supernatural abilities, unlike any other human being. What if she wasn't even human? And you're just there, you know, the prop.
Being as stubborn as a 16 year old can get, Elisa is doing exactly that; but for the wrong purpose. She is oblivious that her 6 year best friend has been watching out for her, only to find out her weaknesses.
