    Highwings, a new and happy warrior of ShadowClan, finds that she comes into the scene at a poor time.
    
    Many of the Clans have started acting suspicious. WindClan's leader is a brute, ThunderClan's leader snappy, and RiverClan's leader distant. Even ShadowClan, which ironically holds itself up higher than the other Clans in this time, begins to feel unsafe as something unravels within.
    
    And Highwings is facing her own personal problems. Being a socially inept she-cat with no desire for a mate or kits leads her into more trouble than she asked for, and she finds herself an outcast in her own Clan.
