It seems like just yesterday I was saved. Not knowing what to do next or where I should go. Little by little I had to find my way and put together the lessons I was taught from different sources to seemingly lead a holy life. My supreme happiness came from when I found Jesus. Little did I know all I had to do was dwell in his heart and he would provide me with the wisdom I need and show me the things I could only fantasize about. Things like these seemed to me too precious to keep hidden, and that's when I knew I just had to share Who He is to the whole world. Visions, testimonies, miracles and more came knocking at my door leading me into a dose of Heaven on Earth. Blue Roses for My Bride series: Book 1 NOTE I am not a writer, but I do enjoy writing. I learn as I go where writing a book is concerned. So the book has a lot of flaws, typos and words may not be in the correct order. It may be a finished book but there is still lots of work to do on it. It is a draft of my process in writing the book, so please keep in mind that things will be constantly added, taken out or changed until it becomes how the Lord wants it to be. Stephanie Darasimi Ajayi is a 27 year old freelance interior designer in Lagos, Nigeria. At that age, with no prospective husband, everyone starts to bother her about finding a partner, but no one seems to get that she is trusting God's timing with her future spouse. He has promised her that He has someone for her, but she has to trust His timing. Omotayo Jayden Williams just turned 30. Although he owns a thriving restaurant, his mum has decided not to see past the fact that he is not married and seems to have no desire for women. Why can't she understand that he just needs time to heal from his last relationship and reconnect with God. They meet in a not-so-pleasant way at a friend's wedding and seem to keep seeing each other around. Coincidence?... I think not. Come on this journey with Stephanie and Tayo as they seek to put God first while navigating this thing called life. ~ "Are you really upset with me? I was joking.... o de ti binu beyen (and you're already angry)" he chuckles. "Jokes are supposed to be funny, Tayo." I reply with an unimpressed look. "Alright, I'm sorry." He walks up to me and with his arms wrapped around my waist and my back to his chest, he whispers slowly delivering gentle kisses to my neck "Ife mi, ayo mi, eni okan mi (my love, my joy, the one who owns my heart), please forgive me for teasing you about your hair" I giggle at his attempt to win my forgiveness even though we both know that I wasn't really angry. Turning to face him, I'm in awe by the fact that this is what my life is now; engaged to this beautiful, God seeking, loving, intelligent man, I'm nothing short of blessed. God really does keep his promises. "Forgiven." ~ This book will not contain explicit scenes or cursing, but it will include the everyday struggles of anyone seeking God in this generation... That being said, I pray this book reaches and helps someone who feels like they relate to the topics in this book... HAPPY READING 🤗🫶🏾

(Complete) || Each one of us felt hopeless at one point in our lives. Every Christian, even the characters in the Bible who had deep relationship with God, felt anxious and fearful of those mysterious events to be unfolded sooner or later. Past, present, and future. Guilt, consequences, and results. Because of these, we were slowly swallowed by darkness. These were the nights of our trials. Hope is something we look for when we face uncertainties in life. Throughout our lives, we experienced these various trials, numerous downfalls, and oftentimes we cried out for just a glimmer of hope. Let us read the 30-day reflection of a servant of God through the Word of God.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN. I was alone in my sanctum when I thought of it. "It didn't have to happen the way it did " I thought. Several reports , articles , interventions , letters , memos , essays etc have been written on the pandemic at hand : The Corona virus pandemic. Funny how it goes for the past few months , the static lockdown of activities due to the unheralded outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic brought about my titling of this novella "Pestilence at Nineteen". My review on a short article written by Abdusalam Wasiu a penultimate student of Guidance and counselling , in the University of Ilorin and the Chairman of the National association of Nigerian students , Kwara state axis , says and I quote an excerpt : "...If the Federal Government should keep saying people and students should stay at home till the active case of COVID-19 is circumscribed , students may be at home for three years or beyond being static educationally. The simple truth is , COVID-19 has come to stay..." Those words to some extent were heartfelt in all ramifications, but the part which kept reoccurring in my mind was the last part "COVID-19 has come to stay". Although he spoke from a more academic dimensis and perspective , meaning wasn't lost to the world in general as we have it. A more appropriate approach for the titular which I first proffered was PESTILENCE AT NINETEEN : A Nigerian perspective ; but then , I made some emendations which I thought necessary at the time. I seeked to uncover some facet of truth which have been hidden in the Nigerian quest for survival in this pandemic. The hunger , the strife , the impoverished , the family , the elitist , idealists , the plebe- the partitioning of these groups have alot of say to this Pandemic , some heard , some unheard and it all boils down to one thing , humanity.

I decided to share them, anonymously of course. Hopefully its written in a way that can help you walk your own path and understand things from a different perspective. Inspired from events in my life, in relation to being positive, a relationship with Jesus, and Christianity itself.
