Reina slowly opened her eyes and in front of her sat a beautiful wooden nutcracker in the form of a soldier. He wore a black and gold uniform, his hair was peach-pink and soft to the touch. He had dark onyx eyes that stared up at her, she felt as though he was staring into her soul.
"Thank you uncle, he's beautiful," Reina said.
"There's a story to go along with that nutcracker. He's not just wood, he's secretly a prince named Seiji from a hidden land. One day an evil rat king took over his kingdom, Seiji tried to fight off the rat king but he was wounded. A sorcerer found him and turned him into a nutcracker to save his life," Takumi told her.
