The Nevers

It's now 2037, and it has been seventeen years since IT came and changed the whole world's way of living. For people living in the nation of Unus, their lives now revolve around following the rules put into place by President Jax. He has expressed the importance of everyone in the nation following the rules because it's what keeps them safe and it's what helps to separate the good ones in the nation called the 'thrivers' from THEM. To help see to it that the thrivers are doing their part for the betterment of Unus, President Jax has put together a special task force called the Corowatchers.

Refusal to follow the rules and it's off to THAT PLACE for thrivers to spend the rest of their lives in exile with THEM.

For 16 year-old Emersyn Wren, this is what her life revolves around, living to survive and surving to live. For her it's simple, keep your head down and do what you're suppose to do and everything will be fine, or so she thinks. When things begin to happen in her state and around the nation that pose a threat to every thriver's survival, everything she believes in is put to the test as she struggles to keep her family together, has to deal with the number one girl she can't stand at Monthill High, Frankie Jo, and her friends, she uncovers secrets, and she befriends the school loner, Brock Hensley.
