His brown eyes held pain from the past, the loss and betrayals of his best friends hidden deep within. Hers shimmered with a happiness that she loved to spread. holding unparalleled strength.
His pale scars were from a monthly sacrifice, giving his own body to the beast that stole his mind each month; a consequence from what was labelled his 'furry little problem'. Her scars were from nasty bludgers in quidditch, but she held internal scars that he set out to heal.
They were entirely different and entirely forbidden.
But maybe that's what made the love between Remus Lupin and Cedrella Weasley so strong.
Love is found in places one doesn't expect, but once it's there it shines brighter than the sun, near impossible to extinguish.
