Summary:

The people of Auradon believe Princess Audrey may be behind the case, but she isn't.
After King Ben and Mal's wedding, Audrey was exiled by her grandmother Queen Leah, and she can never come back to Auradon.
A decade later, Lori Rose enrolls at Auradon Prep, and she gets mistaken by the people of Auradon as her mother, Princess Audrey.
Many secrets about Queen Leah's devious plans are beginning to be revealed to King Ben through Loir, and Queen Leah is enjoying her chess time with the townspeople of Auradon as her chess pieces.
Prince Cornelius "Cory, the son of King Ben, and Deceased Queen Mal becomes interested in Loir. However, the daughter of his childhood friend becomes a Rose Thorn on the King's side by reminding him of his past mistakes of cheating on Audrey before saying no to Cory's request to court her.
No matter how hard the royal family tries to get Lori to give Cory a chance as his girlfriend, she reminds the King of Audrey with her stubbornness, and he wonders where Audrey is because no one can find her.
Follow Lori as she helps her father, King Ben, figure out where Audrey could be, and bring her back.
