As a musician in Britain in 1844, an era in which women weren't allowed to do men's work, Amber hides behind the name of Andrew to perform as a pianist in the events of the upper class Clark family, while also leading a double life being the domestic servant of the Clark's beautiful young daughter, Melody, who is strictly off limits for everyone.
