Ava Wilson lived in, well basically, a dream. A set of parents that loved both each other and their kids, 5 loving and overprotective older siblings, and a best friend that she'd known since birth.
That all changed the day her parents were killed in a car accident. Just months after that, her best friend lost his battle against leukemia and months after that, her and two of her brothers were sent away to live in the united states.
Liam Grey was a cold guy, everyone knew and feared him and he doesn't care, after all, he's never known anything else. Never having felt parental love while growing up, he grew a deep hatred for everyone and everything. He turned to violence as the solution to all his problems.
This was until one day, he bumped into a girl. Instead of running like everyone else in her position would, she apologized and smiled at him. He grew curious over this mystery girl, and he was going to do everything in his power to find out everything he can about her.

We've all heard about 'the main character'. The type of person who lives through the most dramatic and improbable situations, and finds the kind of epic romance you only see in works of fiction. Which makes you think about how unrealistic love like that is. I used to think the same thing until I met him. Until I met 'the bad boy' that, as it turns out, wasn't that bad at all, just simply...a boy. A boy with an easy smile, a charming personality and looks so enticing that I couldn't keep my eyes off of him if I tried. A boy whose shoulders were starting to slump with the weight of his past and his family. A boy who believed that the only way to survive was by putting a lock on his heart and chaining it down to a place so deep inside of him that no one could ever reach it again.
