Luke Hemmings is like every other freshman. He has acne, he's hormonal, and he has a lot of questions about his changing body. He's not sure of a lot of things, but there's 3 things he's sure of. He has the best family, the best best friend Calum, and he's gay. He's never liked a girl, and never will. Luke is still in the closet, so it's extremely important that no one at school knows. He's a freshman, so if it leaks, his whole reputation is ruined. Then there's Ashton Irwin, a junior. He's out of the hormonal stage, but it's confused. He spends every lunch with his friends (the jocks) and there girlfriends. Ashton's girlfriend Becky is extremely clingy, and Ashton is getting sick of it. One day, a certain freshman sits at his table, he doesn't know why but he finds the freshman extremely attractive. Ashton is confused. A hormonal freshman whose positive about his sexuality, and a non hormonal junior who is on the fence about his sexuality. Perfect match right?
