Sora a young 17 year old girl watched her village burn to the ground and everyone she knew and love was either murdered or kidnapped by the horrid Dark Knights. In her search for revenge she takes the identity of a Royal white knight. Joining a crusade of highly trained knights she hopes to hunt down the men responsible for her family’s death, unknowingly falling into a world she had no knowledge of existence of, other than in the tales her grandmother used to tell her. Realizing she is in far too deep of trouble, she decides to befriend her enemy, a stunningly handsome but utterly sarcastic and irritatingly cunning knight, who knows more than he leads on and hides a most deadly secret that can ultimately destroy them both. But can she learn to forgive past mistakes and allow herself to find love in the must unlikely of places?

Ty has been trying to work up the Courage to ask Amy to Marry him but has he left it too Late, due to his actions they are not in a good place, Months Later Amy is offered a Chance to show her Family what she can do as a trainer not Just a Healer of Horses, by putting on a show to Audition for a Chance to Tour with the Dark Horse Troupe through Canada and then the USA which would be a Two Month Tour around Canada then a one month break before the American Tour which would be for Nine Months. What will Amy do, her Grampa said to her that this was a chance of a Lifetime and not to worry about Heartland as they'll Just buy and breed more Cattle. Of course things take a different turn due to Ty's insecurities and while Amy's in the USA with Dark Horse, Calamity Strikes of Biblical proportions sending the US into turmoil with help being offered from the UK and Europe. Sora is a better witch than wolf, though not by much, but she still pursues that craft in spite of the dangers. Her place in the world is a dangerous one, but will it last? The world she lives in is a dangerous one, and such a life as hers rarely ends happily. Disclaimer: this is a short prequel, Sora's story does not conclude with this one. If you finish this book and go "oh, that's the end?" it's because it's not the end. I'm writing a trilogy called Mortance that explores the larger world that this takes place in and concludes Sora's story more thoroughly than in this book.
