Joining a crusade of highly trained knights she hopes to hunt down the men responsible for her family’s death, unknowingly falling into a world she had no knowledge of existence of, other than in the tales her grandmother used to tell her. Realizing she is in far too deep of trouble, she decides to befriend her enemy, a stunningly handsome but utterly sarcastic and irritatingly cunning knight, who knows more than he leads on and hides a most deadly secret that can ultimately destroy them both. But can she learn to forgive past mistakes and allow herself to find love in the must unlikely of places?
