Her parents left 7 years ago with the promise that they'd be back soon. She hasn't heard from them since, and she's tired of waiting. She sets out to search the remaining cities, no matter how dangerous they're rumored to be. But determination isn't all she needs to succeed.
When she meets a strange boy who has been living the in the area, she realizes that he could help her navigate. And he'll help, but at a price.
