In the world of Pokémon, there are many types of different creatures living alongside humans.

A group going by as the Sanders Sides are well know single Type Pokémon Trainers journeying around together.

The group is divided into different 'teams':
The Light Sides.
The Dark Sides.
And The Neutrals.

Sometimes they travel all together, sometimes the Dark Sides venture out on their own.
But those who know of them know that they are a close group, and all powerful, alone or together.All Rights Reserved

Everyone knows that once upon a time Virgil Sanders was a Dark Side of Thomas's personality, he was once known to be Paranoia but he never felt like he belonged anywhere and on either side. Though today he is considered to be a hybrid now; he is a balance of both, he is light and he is dark but thankfully he is no longer an enemy of Thomas or the other Light Sides. Still haunted by his mysterious past Virgil has to keep secrets in order to protect Thomas and the others, hopefully, to never reveal the pain he once endured but the arrival of two dark sides; Janus and Remus causes Virgil to become very wary. Not sure whether to see them as a threat or what they are planning has Virgil on edge. Soon he notices that Thomas is starting to fall closer into darkness and is slowly beginning to weaken and infect his new family. Knowing what will happen if Thomas is completely corrupted, Virgil knows he has to stop whatever is causing this infection even if he must pay the ultimate price.

I'll tell you, mutual pinning and miscommunication, with tons of angst with some hurt/comfort fluff.
