Haru Kato and Daisuke Kambe are diligent police officers. They perform their duties well and no one has a problem with how they handle things. But on one such job they were late and the two of the three hostages they had to save were already dead when they arrived. They managed to save the other one but now the little child had lost her parents. The child, Haruka, 5-years-old has become acquainted with Haru and so the Chief decides that Haru will take care of the little girl...but not just that, Kambe has to be his assistant.
