Paper Rings

"So what do you think ?" I asked nervously.

He definitely had a blank expression and even though I expected this and it was a genuine reaction to the situation ,I was annoyed at his expression.

"Umm I don't know you tell" his reply came after almost 2 minutes of thoughtful silence

There ladies and gentlemen, was my best friend whom I had irrevocably fallen in love with him and he had just figured that out .

Their friendship was in a totally unexpected manner ,they remained friends in a totally unexpected way ,but now they had been friends from almost two years and their friendship was built on one promise , none of them will fall for either of them . But as cliché as it may seem one of them does fall for the other, hence making things complicated.
