Regan Dare is the last in his family's blood line and keeping his family's name up and active isn't as simple as it may seem when you live in a world like his. Instead of houses, everyone in the Province of Peace and Love have singular rooms in the tall buildings they call the Lacum; indestructible prisons for the weak-minded who don't know they're trapped.
  
There are four Provinces in the land of Mayleeria, and each is for a different purpose. The Province of Peace and Love is that in which Regan takes refuge, the last in his name. His family are gone; they were taken from him in a Ripper raid and never returned. But that doesn't discourage Regan to follow in their footsteps.
  
Fighting for the freedom of not only his Province, but all other Provinces as well, Regan campaigns against the leaders and puts together a small group of other rebels that want the same thing he does; freedom.
