She had told him many times she wasn't sure about loads of things. Kids and marriage, two things he was looking for in the wrong places. She once told him that she'd only consider them if she found someone she could love, but even then, she wasn't really trying to search for that person. He knew it was dumb to try and make her see the beauty in those things because he could now only see them with her.
