After high school, Christian thought he had his son's life planned out for him. He figured Theodore would come work for him and eventually take over but he was wrong. Theodore had his own plan; he wanted to be a mechanic. All his life, he strove to be something different than his father. It was during his first year in training to be an automotive technician that everything changes for him. He meets Ella Pierce, the young owner of Freelance Auto and Recovery, and learns a dark secret about her, her father, and his own father. But that just makes him want to strive to be different. To prove to not only his father, but himself, and Ella, that he is meant to be a mechanic as well as he's not his father.
