Gerard Way was just a simple hearted boy that -despite his deafness- had dreams of becoming a famous drummer in a rock band.

And after reluctantly getting enrolled in a mainstream High School, Gerard comes to realize he finally has a chance at being like every other teenage kid - he has a chance at normalcy.

Though on his first day he manages to cross paths with Frank Iero, a flirtatious jerk that may or may not have a "punk rock" band Gerard totally wants to be a part of.

The only question is; will Gerard manage to resist Frank's odd yet effective charm? Or will he be eternally destined to daydream about the boy who has hair that looks like his little cousin cut it?
