"Just me and you, take my hand. Let's escape I promise to never let you go," she says full of confidence with a huge smile plastered on her face.
"I don't believe in promises."
"Oh, since when?" She asks me with her arms crossed over her chest trying to look serious, perking an eyebrow.
"I never believed in promises," I reply shortly and she just clicks her tongue and roll her eyes. She starts pulling my arm and drags me out of the room.
I stop and she stops to turn around, trying to figure out why I stopped. "I don't want to go to another place to escape."
"I don't understand," she answers confused.
"I'm already escaping, my breathing is just fine, I'm free." I say as I take a few steps towards her.
"Uhm, I don't understand." She repeats and I take her hand in mine and start dragging her out of the house to my motorcycle. I hand her a helmet while I put mine on.
"Hello, can you answer me, please."
"Just jump on, I'll explain later," I say, she jumps on and throws her arms around my waist. I step on the clutch and grab the handle, "you're my escape." I whisper knowing that she doesn't hear me over the rumbling sound of the engine.
