When Kageyama met Hinata, he felt an immediate connection towards him. Hed never felt anything like it though and felt he needed to push the younger boy away. So he did.
What he didnt realize, was that he would soon be on the same team as Hinata, and continued to distance himself from the boy. Though they eventually became friends (and maybe a little something more), Kageyama does something that distances himself from the rest of the team -- and more painfully, from Hinata himself.

*DISCONTINUED* Kageyama x reader Kageyama is the same as always uptight, moody, and socially awkward. Or is that just an act? (Y/n) is an average teen girl with an okay life. It's not too sad but not too happy. Her father and mother were very happy together. Not only that but they were rich. (Y/n)'s father is a very very important business man who decided to marry not for money, but for love. Or that's what they both thought at first. Once she finds out about the volleyball club she remembers how much Kageyama loved volleyball and notices that there's an opportunity to join by becoming the assistant manager for when the 3rd year, Kiyoko Shimizu, graduates. He decides to tell Oikawa before leaving for the training camp as their relationship gets better but he discovers something that leads him to believe Tooru played a cruel joke on him and he runs away heartbroken. ______ This is my first time writing a Haikyuu fan fiction.
