When Kageyama met Hinata, he felt an immediate connection towards him. Hed never felt anything like it though and felt he needed to push the younger boy away. So he did.
What he didnt realize, was that he would soon be on the same team as Hinata, and continued to distance himself from the boy. Though they eventually became friends (and maybe a little something more), Kageyama does something that distances himself from the rest of the team -- and more painfully, from Hinata himself.
