The stars held his secrets. Every night, he poured his heart out to them on the balcony of the apartment while Steve slept back in the bedroom. They were the only ones he trusted.

Bucky learned that his love for Steve wasn't so brotherly after all when Steve's mother, Sarah, explained how she knew she loved his father. Those alleyway hugs and nights spent tangled together in the bedsheets to keep warm were more than just acts of friendship.

Sarah Rogers didn't hate him for loving her son. Maybe, just maybe, Steve wouldn't either.
