I almost jumped out of my skin when he placed a hand on my neck, shivers ran across my skin as he slowly brushed back the hair from my neck. It seems to last a lifetime, my body craved his thumb grazing along the skin of my neck. I snap out of it when he mumbles quietly, close to my ear so his breath trickles subtly over my neck. "You should probably ice that." My eyes catch his for a second, a whirl of emotions in them that I don't know how to decipher. So I whisper quietly back, afraid if I spoke too loud, it might disrupt this look he was giving me. "It's not that bad." I grabbed his hand, pulling it away from my neck. "There's fucking bite marks Ella." ************************************** Orphaned 17-year old Elbina's new life is simple, or at least it was supposed to be. It isn't made easier by the new feelings stemming for her best friend, Lucas, and certainly not by the strange man watching her when she least expects it.
