11year old Sofia Morgan is very close to dying born with such a rare condition doesn't come with a very long life span and with no cure Sofia is told she will most likely pass away at the end of December.With news Sofia decides to make the most out of it she decides to take on new hobbies one is butterflies she relates to them bc they have such short life spans.When she finds a field of Monarch Butterflies she decides to study them,figure out why these Monarchs are here in December because they cannot survive such cold weather.She learns that these butterflies can talk she doesn't believe it at first but then she figures out why they are here.Sofia and the butterflies become friends,she goes out to the field everyday to watch them.During the last 3 weeks of her life she decides to write about the butterflies and how she was so happy that they were here and that bc of them she would die happy and no one would have to worry.All because of the Monarch's in December.
