Jo and Laurie: A Re-telling of the Re-telling by theloudenglishmjr

After reading "Jo and Laurie" by Stohl and De La Cruz, I was unsatisfied. In this tale, I have taken some elements of their plotline and made it my own. This is how I would have wanted the re-telling to look like, a lot more relationship building, character building, and reality. I intend to give Jo and Laurie the "Hollywood ending" we all dream of, while still making the story feel real.

The oldest at 16, Margaret "Meg" March, was a budding actress with dreams of an elegant warm house filled with the laughter of children and a loving husband. Next was the assertive Josephine "Jo" March at 15, with entire novels at the tips of her fingers waiting to be written. The third sister at 13 whose hands were born to create wonderful music, Elizabeth "Beth" March. The last two sisters were 12-year old twins, Amy and Andrea "Andy" March. The pair of twins couldn't be more opposite than the poles of a magnet. With Amy as the proper young lady in the making and Andy as the enigmatic entrepreneur. She quickly became close friends with Mr. Laurence's grandson, Theodore Laurence, who was the same age as her. Emmeline quickly developed a crush on Theodore, and he quickly began to fall for her. When the two friends go to a New Year's Eve party, they meet two of their neighbors: Jo and Meg March. Theodore ended up taking a liking to Jo and buried his romantic feelings for Emmeline deep down after he saw Emmeline talking with another boy and began to pursue Jo. What will happen to Theodore and Emmeline's friendship? Will the two ever admit their feelings for each other? (This is going to be based off of the 1994 film adaptation of Little Women, the book, and based on the 2019 film adaptation a bit.)
