Robin's best friend is dying. And there's nothing she can do about it. So when Sarah demands to go on one last adventure with her she can't say no. But, some how, their Egyptian adventure ends with Robin accidentally raising a mummy from the dead and activating a dead curse that will eventually kill her from the inside out.

Robin now has a choice. She can stay with the agents of the government department, Sector Against Magic, who have managed to subdue the mummy she's raised, the ancient and very dangerous God--Set. Or she can help Set regain his crown and kingdom and potentially give him the power to take over the world.

Seems like a no brainer right?

But Set offers her the deal of a lifetime. Go with him, help him take back the Crown to Duat and he won't just cure her, he'll save her best friend. All she has to do is pass the Tests of Ascension, be crowned as his queen, and when she's done, he'll resurrect his real queen, whom she just happens to look like, and hand the crown off to her. Then she can go home and it'll be like none of this ever happened.

It's a deal she can't refuse.

But this deal comes with expectations and the fully regenerated Set is not only sinfully attractive, but nothing like she expected. Now Robin has to leave everything she knew behind, her friends, her family and dive headfirst into the Egyptian Underworld. She must navigate the dangers of the Court of the Egyptian Gods and pass the Tests of Ascension, all while trying to keep up her end of the bargain and trying to keep her heart safe from Set, who she falls more for every day.

Will he ever see her as more than a reincarnation of the woman he loved? Will Sarah be able to save Robin before Set enacts his final plan? Or will the curse in her blood kill them all?
