"So," he started, "what do you think about love?"

Hmm. "Well, I guess it just...."

"What?" he asked curiously.

"happens."

He laughed at my answer. "That's it? 'It just happens'? Seriously?"

I slapped him in the arm and tried to compose myself. This boy always ticks me off and gets on my nerves! Ugh! I mean, what is wrong with that? If you would ask me personally, it would be a totally different answer. You know why?

Because love sucks. It sucks so bad.

Lyla Grace Meadow is not your ordinary teenager, she's a blogger and a famous Wattpad author, hence the pen name, The Poet. She concealed the identity of this person, and she tried so hard. Then she spends time with the school player, and her mortal enemy, Luke Gabriel Miller. As she gets to know him more, she finds herself changing her perception about love. But when that crumbles down once more, would you give that person no choice to take? Or repeat The Poet's Mistake?
