The two forge an instant connection in a complicated story of consent, abuse and the darkness we try to hide from ourselves. This is a very rough draft that I am posting as I go. I will try to catch any proofreading issues and continuity errors, but I can't promise anything exciting. This is also a very dark paranormal romance with a fox shifter omega and a non-shifter alpha. I'd describe it as spicy but with lots of emotional angst. It's got hurt/comfort galore and an age gap (28 and 41). It features lots of knotting, scenting, mpreg, explicit scenes of cutting and self-harm, suicidal ideation, sexual abuse (in the past, not between the two MMCs), dubcon and issues of consent. Mental health rep: PTSD (from sexual and war trauma), depression, OCD, self-harm, anxiety. Read at your own discretion. Cover by Rocking Book Covers.
