A year later after escaping her kidnapper's hold, Audrey Harper is once again adjusted and happy at home. Although the memories from the cabin still haunt her in her dreams; the days are filled with her mother, her best friend, and her newly adopted German Shepard.
Her life is once again stable, until she gets a call from an unknown number. One of the only voices she hears in her dreams, there's no denying it.
"Xander?"
The boy she once fell in love with, on the other end of the phone. But isn't a love proclamation.
"Audrey? Sorry for the impromptu call, but I need help killing my brother. I've been tracking him, but you know Owen. Have you forgotten the threats he made on your family?"
Will Audrey stay home and hopefully call Owen's bluff, or risk it all to protect the people she loves?
