Sa murang edad, mulat na mulat na si Aria Catalina sa mga pangyayari na lumilibot at pinagdadaanan ng kanilang pamilya. Ngunit ganon pa din ang pagkabigo niya at pagkawala ng pag-asa nang pilitin siya ng kaniyang magulang na gawing pambayad utang dahil lamang sa mga naipatalo nitong sugal.
