Echo was found in an alleyway merely a few hours old on a cold winter night of Russia covered only by a sheet. However, she was saved and brought to the Red Room where she was discovered to be incredibly talented and inhumanly intelligent. At age ten, she's traded to Hydra for the Red Room's gain.
